Using The Metastock Organiser
By Jason Mitchell
A Quick Guide to the Organiser Section Of Metastock
A step by step guide on an easy way to share formulas and experts.
One of Metastocks most powerful features is the use of formulas. For those who are not comfortable
writing their own formulas the organiser function of metastock provides an easy way to share
indicators, experts and explorations. Further to this some indicators (including some on this
site) can only be accessed through the organiser. Many top traders prefer to keep a lot
of their codings secret. Why, well simply because others can take the coding and say it is their own.
The organiser allows you to use the same tools as these top traders without them haing to share
the coding which may have taken hundreds of hours to refine.
Before we start....
Downloading An Indicator in File Form
To illustrate the whole process of using the organiser we will begin by downloading a file off the internet.

Clicking save will bring up the following page:
Once this page has come up choose a Folder on your computer to save the file in.

you saved the file as you will need to refer to it later.

The File Has Been Downloaded !
Now that we have the file on our computer we need to import it in to Metastock. This is where the use of the organiser
comes in and where we start learning about it's features. It is no harder than what we have already done so let's go....
