I think this is one of the best books around. The workbook format,which I love, forces the reader to think and use what they have just learnt re-enforcing the information and giving it substance. By completing each exercise they build on each other until at the end of the book her system is easy to understand and could be traded effectively.

The book covers a system that uses "Weight of Evidence" to analyse shares. The analysis of each share covers line placement, volume analysis, pattern recognition, moving average analysis, Momentum indicator anlayis and Candlestick analaysis. While this sounds involved, Louise has made it easy to follow and apply.

The system is complete in that it covers not only analysis but also risk management and trade management. It also provides information on testing the system in real time, which after completing all of her exercises should be easy.

Whilst it does not cover extensive numbers of indicators it does cover a few simple methods that are used time and time again and that provide sound analysis from a technical perspective. It also demonstrates how a rather simple outlook on analysis is very effective.

Again I think it is great. The workbook format if followed would enable a person to develop a trading system and then test it in real time and using back testing. For all aspects I would recommend this book to anyone, particularly those new to technical analysis.
