Using Tradesim - A Quick Walkthrough
Choose or write your exploration using Metastock and it's formula language.
After running the exploration you can check the results or just close down metastock and open Tradesim.
Open the newly created database (automatically created by the explorer) as you would any other windows program.
Once it is displayed you can start choosing positon size models, portfolio sizes, risk allocation rules and many other
parameters. You can choose to run either a basket test or a simulation.
Once done just choose start simulation (or start basket test) and the simulation is run automatically. There are numerous
reports charts and figures produced to help you see how the system or signal has worked. An example of these are:
